Accounting & Reporting Manager

The Accounting & Reporting Manager will play a crucial role in guiding financial practices and compliance for KFC Thailand. Lead financial reporting and analysis while acting as a trusted advisor to provide guidance on financial practices and compliance, partnering with Shared Service Center and stakeholders to deliver insights, support decisions, and drive process improvements. The role also gains exposure to FP&A and Finance Business Partnering, building broader end-to-end finance capability alongside its core accounting and reporting scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing with Shared Service Center and stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete P&L reporting (revenue, franchise fund, expenses, net profit).
  • Provide advisory support on financial processes and best practices in partnership with Shared Service Center
  • Perform monthly P&L analysis to identify key trends, investigate variances vs. targets, and deliver performance insights
  • Gain exposure to FP&A and Finance Business Partnering, supporting budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis in partnership with the Planning and Commercial Finance teams to build a broader end-to-end finance skillset
  • Oversee AR and billing processes, including aging review and timely issue resolution
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on financial practice and insights
  • Advice on purchase and payable processes to ensure appropriate expenses transactions classification and cut off alignment with internal policies
  • Review contracts and agreement, including budget validation and provide finance and tax guidance
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Present to management on key findings and issues related to financial processes, with clear recommendations
  • Assess financial health check of tech vendors, in coordination with Shared Service Center
  • Collaborate with Global Internal Audit teams on Franchise Audits (as applicable)
  • Lead COOP fund audits when required
  • Process improvements and system enhancements as required
  • Support additional responsibilities as assigned, including occasional off-hours support when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 10 years of proven experience as Accounting in Retail, FMCG or relevant industry
  • Audit experience is a plus
  • Strong planning, time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate effectively & fluently both speaking and writing in both English & Thai required
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Prior exposure to FP&A and Finance Business Partnering (budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis) is an advantage
