Accounts cum Admin Executive

We are an established supplier of building materials serving contractors, developers, interior designers and construction companies in Singapore. We are looking for a responsible, organised and detail-oriented Accounts cum Admin Executive to support our finance and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts:-

- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

- Prepare and issue invoices, delivery-related billing documents, receipts and credit notes.

- Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances.

- Process supplier invoices and prepare payment vouchers.

- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.

- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.

- Support GST reporting and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.

- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and accounting records.

Administration:-

- Provide general administrative support for daily office operations.

- Prepare quotations, purchase orders, delivery orders and other sales documentation.

- Coordinate with suppliers, customers and logistics providers regarding deliveries and order fulfilment.

- Maintain inventory and office records.

- Procure office supplies and manage office facilities.

- Answer phone calls, attend to customer enquiries and handle correspondence.

- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems.

- Support HR administration such as leave records, staff claims and employee documentation where required.

- Perform other ad hoc administrative duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

- Minimum Diploma, Higher NITEC or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.

- At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting and administrative experience.

- Experience in a trading, building materials or construction-related industry will be an advantage.

- Basic knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and GST.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

- Experience with accounting software such as AutoCount, MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks or Sage is preferred.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

Working hours:

Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm
