About the role
As an Acoustic Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for managing new opportunities and helping clients identify the most appropriate acoustic solution for their project. This is a key client-facing position combining technical problem-solving, site consultation, estimating, quotation preparation and sales. You will manage enquiries from the initial client conversation through to site assessment, solution development, quotation and project conversion.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to new client enquiries by phone and email
- Understanding the client's acoustic problem, objectives and project requirements
- Conducting site inspections and client meetings
- Reviewing drawings, plans and construction details
- Identifying potential noise, sound isolation and acoustic treatment requirements
- Developing practical acoustic solutions
- Selecting appropriate acoustic products and construction systems
- Preparing scopes of work, estimates and quotations
- Presenting solutions and proposals to clients
- Following up quotations and opportunities
About you
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Confidence dealing directly with clients
- Ability to conduct professional site meetings and inspections
- Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications
- Strong numerical and quotation skills
- Commercial awareness
- Good organisation and follow-up skills
- Confidence presenting and selling technical solutions
- A current Australian driver's licence
