Acquisition Strategy Manager
You will lead acquisition strategy across Sportsbook and Casino products, developing and executing initiatives that drive customer growth and optimize promotional investment. You will define player propositions, segments, and KPIs; use customer data and research to deliver actionable insights; own activation targets and promotional spend; and coordinate execution with Marketing Operations, Retention, Product, Finance, and other stakeholders. You will also coach and develop an Acquisition Strategy Associate, providing prioritization and support across key initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Champion FanDuel’s Responsible Gaming Standards
- Own acquisition strategy across all regions and products, including execution and reporting
- Partner with Marketing Operations to execute promotional offers across regions, segments, and products
- Partner with Retention teams to establish loyalty and retention plans for newly acquired cohorts
- Develop and implement promotional strategies that drive profitable and responsible revenue growth
- Define player propositions, segmentation, and KPIs for sportsbook, casino cross-sell, and direct casino players
- Identify key annual moments and build cross-functional execution plans
- Deliver actionable insights from customer data and research to inform decisions and gain senior-leadership alignment
- Partner with Product to influence product-roadmap prioritization
- Own activation targets and promotional spend
- Lead and develop an Acquisition Strategy Associate through coaching, prioritization, and career development
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in consulting, finance, marketing, or a commercial role
- Educational background in commerce or a quantitative field with a strong GPA
- Ability to lead projects in a cross-functional environment
- B2C experience and understanding of consumer behaviour
