Summary

The mission of the GRC/RDCS department is to lead the development of the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) platform for Mercedes-Benz China, ensuring the delivery of innovative, reliable, and high-performance solutions that support the company’s vision for autonomous and assisted driving technologies.

The ADAS Platform Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining foundational software for intelligent driving platforms, focusing on Adaptive AutoSAR. This includes creating abstraction APIs for algorithm applications, managing system resources such as process and memory, and implementing communication protocols like TCP/IP, SOME/IP, and DDS. The role involves developing essential ECU functions, preparing technical documentation and test code, and building development tools based on Service-Oriented Architecture. The engineer drives improvements to the software platform framework by collaborating with demand and test teams to ensure compliance with ASPICE standards. Additionally, the position supports the development of application-layer software and assists with software integration and release, working closely with cross-functional teams and technical partners to deliver reliable and scalable solutions for advanced driver-assistance systems
