Administrator
ACDC Express is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts / Administrator to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full bookkeeping function, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting the financial operations of the store.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in a retail or commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance.
- Process purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and journals.
- Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Process supplier payments and maintain creditor accounts.
- Ensure accurate financial records and statutory compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
- Retail industry experience will be advantageous.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage/Accpac, or similar.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence and own transport will be advantageous.
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- Legally authorised to work in Namibia.
