Job Summary:
The Aerospace CMM Programmer will perform specialty functions and evaluations, leveraging technical expertise, problem-solving methodologies, and fostering a culture of innovation to improve Chromalloy's performance. This role is pivotal in supporting our aerospace and industrial gas turbine manufacturing and engineering operations.

Responsibilities:

Develop documentation to set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain all equipment (e.g., Scanning systems, CMM, automated gaging).
Develop programs for inspection using PC-DMIS, Python, C++, and other languages.
Create instructions and checklists for equipment operation and related materials.
Take precise measurements and perform evaluations ensuring all testing is accomplished per regulatory requirements.
Record and report test results after performing calculations, analyzing data, and making graphical representations as appropriate.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
Perform safety checks on all equipment and safety instruments.
Maintain equipment readiness and limit downtime in the event of malfunction.
Prepare technical report summaries for internal customers.
Adhere to corporate ethical standards and quality requirements, including utilization of foundational CI tools.

Education and Experience:

High School or equivalent and advanced programming skills in languages such as PC-DMIS, Python, and C++.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progressively increasing responsibility.
Proven experience in programming CMM, Scanning Systems, Automated Gaging, and Vision gages.
Experience in aerospace or industrial gas turbine engine engineering (design, manufacture, or repair) is preferred.
Direct experience with hot section aerospace turbine blades is preferred.
