Aesthetician

The Aesthetician provides professional skincare services, patient education, and product recommendations while ensuring a high level of patient care and service. This includes performing treatments, maintaining proper documentation, supporting front-office duties as needed, and contributing to business growth through product and service promotion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform skin analysis and develop customized treatment plans and skincare regimens.
  • Educate patients on procedures and skincare products, including private label and retail lines.
  • Prepare for and perform advanced skincare treatments (e.g., facials, Hydrafacial, Oxygen Facial, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, enzyme treatments).
  • Ensure patient consents are completed and procedures are properly documented in EMR.
  • Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance at all times.
  • Maintain treatment rooms: clean, disinfect, stock, and ensure readiness.
  • Coordinate patient care and scheduling in collaboration with providers.
  • Handle patient communication, including answering calls and following up.
  • Participate in promotional events, marketing activities, and patient engagement efforts.
  • Assist with inventory and notify management of needed supplies.
  • Engage in ongoing training and collaboration with team members to remain current on equipment and products.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Florida Aesthetician License (must be posted at work site).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a dermatology or plastic surgery setting.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in EMR and general computer skills.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and adapt to change.
  • Bilingual a plus (not required).
  • Flexibility to work full time, including Saturdays, and travel between locations if needed.

Essential Functions of Job:

  • Office Environment.
  • Exposures encountered, such as hazardous materials, loud noise, or extreme heat/cold.
  • Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
  • Physical effort/lifting, such as sedentary - up to 10 pounds; light - up to 20 pounds; medium - up to 50 pounds; heavy - over 50 pounds.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office/clinical environment. The role regularly requires standing, sitting, working at a computer, communicating with employees, managers, physicians, patients, and walking throughout the day. There are no regular lifting requirements beyond standard office/ practice materials. The work environment is typical of a medical practice setting.
