After School Youth Site Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Kid’s Time Site Manager is responsible for leading the JCC’s off-site Kid’s Time After School Programs. Reporting directly to the Director of After School Programs, the main focus is running a safe, enriching and quality after school program that meets the needs of both children and families it serves. The Kid’s Time Site Manager is responsible for providing leadership, effective guidance and stability for program continuity and to act as a role model for other staff. They must embrace the SJCC’s mission and strategic plan in guiding current and future efforts.
Rate of pay based on experience.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Forming a positive working relationship with the school and JCC personnel
- Supervising and evaluating staff members
- Leads communication between parents and the JCC
- Ensuring excellent & diverse programming
- Forming relationships with children and parents
- Implementation of behavior management strategies
- Ensuring regulations are met to ensure the health and safety of children
- Maintaining cleanliness of site
- Communicate with parents of pertinent program information
- Maintaining accurate daily attendance records
- Communicating issues with your supervisor
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Throughout the school year, when Niskayuna schools are closed, the JCC offers Vacation Day Programming at the JCC. You will be asked to work during those days. The Site Manager will be required to work six vacation days throughout the school year. When schools are closed or have half days, you may be assigned to report to work earlier than your scheduled shift. It is mandatory to attend staff trainings and site director meetings.
