AI Agentic Engineer (Immediate Joiner)

Avya Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced AI Agentic Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of overall professional experience, including hands-on experience in AI development and backend development using Python, Node.js, and PHP. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AI agent development, knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol), and experience building, integrating, and maintaining scalable backend systems and AI-powered applications.

The candidate will be responsible for developing AI agents, implementing intelligent automation solutions, building robust backend services, integrating AI models with external applications, and supporting dashboard development for business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents, agentic workflows, and AI-powered applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, Node.js, and PHP.
• Build REST APIs, microservices, and secure backend services for AI-powered applications.
• Integrate AI models and LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and Azure OpenAI.
• Work with MCP (Model Context Protocol) for connecting AI agents with external tools, APIs, databases, and applications.
• Develop and integrate AI tools, automation workflows, and intelligent business solutions.
• Integrate AI applications with CRM systems, databases, third-party APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Design and maintain database structures, optimize queries, and ensure efficient data handling.
• Develop and maintain backend services for dashboards, analytics, reporting, and business applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with dashboard interfaces.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Deploy, maintain, and monitor applications across server and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-ready AI and backend solutions.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6+ years of overall professional software development experience, including hands-on AI development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in AI development, AI agents, agentic workflows, or AI-powered applications.
• Strong backend development experience using Python, Node.js, and PHP.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, backend architecture, and server-side development.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI tool integrations.
• Experience integrating AI models and external services through APIs.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, database design, and data integration.
• Experience developing or supporting dashboards, analytics systems, reporting modules, or business applications.
• Understanding of application security, debugging, performance optimization, and scalable system design.
• Familiarity with Git, deployment processes, and server environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other LLM platforms.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar AI frameworks.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Experience developing custom MCP servers, MCP clients, and AI tool integrations.
• Familiarity with React.js and Next.js for frontend integration and dashboard development.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with CRM, ERP, and other enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, SaaS architecture, or MLOps.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor AI, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
