AI and Data Platform Engineer (Based KL)
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI-driven solutions, from data ingestion and engineering to application development, deployment, and production support.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and processing workflows to support AI and machine learning applications.
- Build and implement AI-powered features, including Large Language Model (LLM) integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent-based workflows, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in production environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency with minimal manual intervention.
- Analyze complex technical and business challenges, providing practical, efficient, and scalable solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, deployment procedures, configurations, operational runbooks, and technical decision records.
- Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and provide technical consultation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, proactively managing expectations and recommending best-practice approaches to achieve desired outcomes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of solutions and processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, cloud solutions, AI/ML development, or technical project delivery.
- Experience participating in data, cloud, analytics, or AI-related projects, with exposure to one or more areas such as data pipelines, application development, system integration, or solution deployment.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, machine learning applications, or other AI technologies. Hands-on project experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English is required. Ability to communicate in Chinese and/or Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred to support customer and stakeholder engagement.
