AI Backend Engineer

We are currently looking for a AI Backend Engineer for a reference client in the Technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take part in the development of international projects;
• Design, implement, and maintain the AI core module for the main product;
• Design, implement, and maintain the AI Low-Code agentic platform;
• Work in an agile methodology within a Microsoft stack, using SQL Server\PostgreSql, .Net Core (C#, Visual Studio) and WebServices (WCF and REST API);
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing, executing the necessary bug fixing;

Requirments:

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar;
• Solid background in Software Development, with strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP);
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C# (VB or Java are also valued);
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence projects;
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and related AI technologies;
• Experience with Relational Database Modeling and Programming;
• Understanding of software architecture principles, component reuse, version control, and development best practices;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to quality and detail;
• Result-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively within a team;
• Good communication skills and fluent/professional English, both written and spoken.
