AI Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver enterprise AI solutions leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Agentic AI frameworks.
  
• Define and maintain reference architectures for RAG, AI Agents, LLM-powered assistants, and retrieval systems.
  
• Design scalable AI platforms covering model selection, orchestration, observability, security, governance, and deployment.
  
• Lead architecture reviews, technical strategy, and best practices across AI initiatives.
  
• Establish AI evaluation, monitoring, and observability frameworks for quality, performance, and cost optimisation.
  
• Drive Responsible AI implementation, security controls, and compliance standards.
  
• Partner with sales teams on technical discovery, solution design, proposals, SOWs, and client presentations.
  
• Lead and mentor AI engineers while fostering innovation and continuous learning.
  

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 2–3+ years delivering production AI/GenAI solutions.
  
• Strong expertise in Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure ML, AI Document Intelligence, and AI Content Safety.
  
• Hands-on experience with AKS, Azure Container Apps, APIM, Cosmos DB, Microsoft Fabric, Entra ID, Terraform/Bicep, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Experience with GenAI frameworks including Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, NVIDIA NeMo, and LlamaIndex.
  
• Strong knowledge of RAG architectures, AI Agents, vector databases, evaluation frameworks, and observability tools.
  
• Excellent client-facing, presales, and leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams.
