About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and skilled AI Data Engineer to join their growing team in Polokwane. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the robust data infrastructure essential for training and deploying advanced AI models. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for AI/ML workloads. Develop processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage from various sources. Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for machine learning models. Collaborate with data scientists and AI researchers to understand data needs. Implement data governance and security best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on AI/ML data pipelines. Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or Scala. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
