AI Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven AI Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for AI-driven medical image analysis and maintaining relationships with existing doctors and clients.

Job Duties :

• Develop AI-driven medical image analysis algorithms for CT/MRI/X-Ray, with emphasis on:

a) CT image plane recognition & localization

b) Real-time lesion detection, segmentation, and size measurement

c) 3D CT image reconstruction

• Build large-scale, multi-center, multimodal medical imaging databases and lightweight deployment models for clinical applications.

• Work with data scientists, clinicians, and experts to define modeling problems.

• Preprocess and curate medical data (images, EHRs, etc...)

• Validate and test models and ensure relevance and robustness.

• Monitor model performance over time, update, and re-train as needed

• Implement explainable AI / interpretability methods for acceptance.

• Document AI system design, decisions, and rationale (for audits and regulatory needs)

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in medical image processing, Computer Vision, Computer Science Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; Ph. D can be favorable especially for R & D heavy roles.

• 1-2 years’ experience in ML or AI projects; ideally with some healthcare or research experience.

• Technical Skills:-

1. Proficiency in C/C++/Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow.

2. Experience with Deep Learning Frameworks Machine Learning models for medical applications

3. Knowledge of data pipeline / engineering.

4. Experience with medical data processing, data types include imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray) or HER (electronic health records, genomics, or bioinformatics.

• Knowledge:-

1. Understanding of healthcare workflows, processes, or medical regulations (HIPAA, GDPR or local equivalents),

2. Familiarity with medical imaging, diagnostics, or other specific AI applications.

3. Willingness to learn explainable AI / model interpretability, which is especially important in medical AI. Research shows explain ability is critical in medical AI.

4. Knowledge of data privacy, security, and ethical issues in medical AI. Some research proposes functional requirements (audit trails, or evaluation) to mitigate risk. Verification of AI models in a clinical context.

• Soft Skills:-

1. Good communication and ability to translate and data science / engineering teams.

2. Problem-solving, ability to frame clinical problems into ML/AI tasks.

3. Teamwork often works cross-functionally.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong medical data processing and a willingness to learn.

• Medical background is a plus.
