AI ENGINEER

Lawer S.p.A. is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to develop and implement AI projects across industrial processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and to advance our automation products with state-of-the-art AI capabilities. The role focuses on programmatic AI integration, pilot projects, PoCs, and industrialization, with a strong emphasis on data analytics, MLOps, and effective communication with both technical and

Develop and implement AI solutions/projects. Provide technical support and after sales/assistance. Optimize processes, ensure quality control, and predictive maintenance. Manage pilot projects, PoCs and industrialization. Translate business needs into technical requirements. Collaborate to analyze business and production processes to identify AI opportunities. Support adoption of AI tools internally and share best practices. Degree in Engineering or similar field. 3+ years Python programming experience. Experience with LLMs and modern AI tools (prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, agent frameworks). Knowledge of AI/ML/Data Analytics. Understanding of industrial, production and automation processes. Ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Analytical, structured, and result-oriented.
