AI Engineer

Salary: RM 5,500 – RM 8,000 per month

We are seeking talented and motivated AI R&D Engineers to join our dynamic team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

As a full-time member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and maintaining AI-powered solutions, with a strong focus on AI Live Chat, and AI Agent systems.

You will have the opportunity to work on real-world AI products and contribute to the development of intelligent systems that can understand user requests, retrieve information, interact with business systems, and automate tasks.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop AI-powered Live Chat and Customer Support solutions

• Develop and integrate LLM-based applications using models such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other LLM providers

• Build and improve RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and AI knowledge bases

• Develop AI Agent systems capable of understanding requests, making decisions, calling tools, and executing tasks

• Implement Function Calling / Tool Calling and integrate AI Agents with internal APIs, databases, and third-party services

• Develop prompt engineering and AI conversation workflows

• Manage conversation context, memory, and knowledge retrieval

• Evaluate and optimize AI response quality, accuracy, and reliability

• Research and experiment with new AI technologies, frameworks, and architectures

• Integrate AI services with existing backend systems and business applications

• Work closely with Product, Operation, and R&D teams to transform business requirements into practical AI solutions

• Participate in system testing, debugging, performance optimization, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, NLP, Backend Engineering, or related fields

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Solid understanding of LLMs and Generative AI

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar

• Good understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering

• Experience with REST APIs and system integration

• Understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated and willing to research and learn new AI technologies

• Able to work in a fast-paced and result-oriented R&D environment
