AI Full Stack Product Engineering Intern
Summary
An intern at 01.AI in Beijing builds full-stack product features end to end — backend APIs, asynchronous tasks, and data services, plus AI functionality such as summarization, structured extraction, retrieval augmentation, and human-review workflows — while writing tests, docs, and joining code reviews. Core stack: Python or Node.js, SQL, HTTP/REST, Git, Linux, Docker.
You will build end-to-end product capabilities from data and APIs to AI functionality and frontend pages. You will develop backend APIs, asynchronous tasks, and data services; design business objects, data tables, and interfaces; and integrate external data sources. You will implement AI summarization, structured extraction, retrieval augmentation, citation binding, and human-review workflows. You will also write tests and technical documentation and participate in code reviews, demonstrations, and issue retrospectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend APIs, asynchronous tasks, and data services
- Design business objects, data tables, and interfaces
- Integrate external data sources and handle data import, mapping, debugging, and fallback behavior
- Implement AI summarization, structured extraction, retrieval augmentation, citation binding, and human-review workflows
- Write tests and technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews, demonstrations, and issue retrospectives
Requirements
- Current senior undergraduate or master's student in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
