AI/ML Engineer

Purpose of the role

Develop, evaluate and integrate AI models that assistauthorised mosque staff with facility operations. The proposed training usecase is computer vision for occupancy insights and safety-related event review,with human oversight. Final zones, event categories, datasets and acceptancethresholds will be agreed with the project owner before implementation.

Responsibilities

· Translate project requirements into a documentedML problem, measurable acceptance criteria and a data collection plan.

· Create reproducible data preparation andlabelling workflows using Python and approved data sources; implement qualityand access checks.

· Adapt and compare suitable pretrained models orsupervised learning approaches, documenting baseline results and limitations.

· Build inference components and integrate modeloutputs with a dashboard or application interface, under technical supervision.

· Test accuracy, false alerts, throughput andlatency under representative mosque operating conditions; diagnose and resolvedefects.

· Maintain versioned code, model artefacts, testreports, operating instructions and deployment or rollback procedures.

· Apply data governance, security and responsibleAI controls; route operational alerts to authorised staff for review.
