AI/ML Risk & Controls Architect
Summary
Designs AI/ML risk frameworks, including continuous monitoring, guardrails, and vendor architecture reviews for financial compliance, focusing on agentic AI systems and bank-specific risk standards.
Responsibility
- Designs the continuous monitoring framework: metrics, drift/performance thresholds, alerting cadence, repla-cing the annual point-in-time review
- Defines the minimum viable guardrails and controls framework for agentic AI adoption (workstream 4): access controls, action boundaries, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, logging/auditability
- Provides technical review of vendor AI architecture (model hosting, data flow, embedded-AI risk), working alongside the Regulatory SME's contract review
- Maintains technical documentation and evidence for the monitoring and guardrails deliverables
Required skills:
- AI & ML model monitoring architecture, agentic AI systems design, AI controls/guardrail engineering, familiarity with bank technology risk and model validation standards
