• Identify and deliver AI solutions supporting transportation management, shipment visibility and execution, pricing, carrier performance, customer service, exception management, document processing, and operational automation.

• Translate business problems into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, model inputs and outputs, fallback logic, process changes, and measurable success criteria.

• Partner with data engineering, analytics, data science, architecture, and security teams to define requirements for data quality, availability, governance, labeling, pipelines, and feedback loops.

• Design and oversee discovery, experiments, proofs of concept, pilots, controlled rollouts, launch planning, adoption, and continuous improvement.

• Define and monitor business and AI performance measures, including adoption, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, return on investment, model accuracy, precision, recall, error and hallucination rates, reliability, latency, and drift, as applicable.

• Establish responsible AI controls covering privacy, security, fairness, explainability, data protection, human oversight, transparency, acceptable use, deployment thresholds, and regulatory compliance.

• Evaluate build-versus-buy-versus-partner options and guide selection of AI platforms, vendors, copilots, automation tools, and custom solutions.

• Work with engineering and data science teams on model evaluation, production readiness, versioning, monitoring, rollback and fallback plans, and ongoing model lifecycle management.

• Develop strategies that increase user trust, understanding, transparency, adoption, and effective use of AI-enabled solutions through communication, documentation, education, and change management.

• Communicate product vision, trade-offs, progress, performance, risks, and launch plans to senior leaders, delivery teams, users, and external partners.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of product management, technology product ownership, business systems, or related experience, including experience delivering data-driven or AI-enabled products preferred.

• Experience defining product strategy and roadmaps, conducting customer discovery, managing backlogs, writing requirements, prioritizing features, and leading cross-functional delivery.

• Working knowledge of machine learning concepts, supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, generative AI, large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, vector search, APIs, intelligent automation, and cloud AI services.

• Understanding of data pipelines, data quality, training and evaluation data, feedback loops, model limitations, experimentation, monitoring, drift, and probabilistic system behavior.

• Ability to evaluate AI opportunities, explain technical concepts to business audiences, and balance customer value, usability, cost, technical feasibility, data readiness, scalability, and risk.

• Experience with product analytics, experimentation, A/B testing, KPI definition, value realization, or benefit tracking preferred.

• Experience with responsible AI, AI governance frameworks, data privacy, security, model risk, compliance, or regulated technology environments preferred.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, data visualization tools, Azure AI or comparable cloud AI platforms, and product management tools preferred; hands-on model development is not required.

• Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, communication, change-management, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Transportation, logistics, supply chain, freight management, carrier management, or operations experience preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Education and Experience:
