About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Security Automation Engineer to lead the automation of internal security testing, security operations, compliance evidence collection, and security improvement initiatives.

This role focuses on leveraging AI agents to continuously identify vulnerabilities, validate security controls, automate recurring assessments, and improve operational security processes.

You will combine strong security engineering expertise with practical experience developing AI-driven workflows, helping improve security posture, operational efficiency, and audit readiness.

The position is focused on internal security automation and audit preparation. Independent annual penetration testing and formal external attestations will remain the responsibility of third-party providers.

We are looking for a hands-on security engineer capable of independently designing, implementing, and operating secure AI automation in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate AI agents for internal security testing, vulnerability detection, and security validation.
• Automate recurring security assessments, configuration reviews, and compliance checks.
• Execute security roadmap initiatives through agent-driven automation and engineering.
• Develop automated workflows to collect, validate, and organize audit evidence.
• Integrate AI security agents with cloud environments, monitoring platforms, and security tools.
• Build automated vulnerability prioritization, remediation recommendations, and tracking workflows.
• Establish secure approval mechanisms and human oversight for sensitive remediation activities.
• Validate AI-generated code and infrastructure changes before production deployment.
• Maintain auditability, traceability, and compliance across automated security operations.
• Coordinate with external security providers when supporting penetration testing and formal attestations.
• Independently identify security improvements and lead their implementation.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Security Operations.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience using AI coding tools.
• 1+ year developing AI agents, agentic workflows, or agent harnesses.
• Proven experience implementing AI-driven security automation in production.
• Experience with internal security testing, vulnerability management, and remediation processes.
• Strong understanding of cloud security controls and identity/access management.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of security compliance, audit evidence collection, and security governance processes.
• Ability to design secure automation with appropriate guardrails, approval mechanisms, and traceability.
• Strong security engineering fundamentals and demonstrated real-world results.
• Ability to independently execute security initiatives and clearly communicate technical risks to stakeholders.
