AI Solutions Consultant
Summary
An AI Solutions Consultant at a mortgage lender who proactively meets with business teams, uncovers automation opportunities, and designs, builds, launches and supports AI agents end to end using approved low/no-code AI platforms, while driving adoption and partnering with IT, security and compliance.
Here at Atlantic Bay, we focus on genuinely caring for both our customers and team. We pride ourselves on being adaptable and energetic, especially in fast-paced environments! Our goal is to continuously inspire growth, for each of our team members to reach their goals and aspirations, all the while having fun. We’re in the business of lending peace of mind, whenever, wherever, however.
Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking an AI Solutions Consultant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will not wait for a queue of fully formed requests. They will proactively engage business teams, ask thoughtful questions, uncover pain points and repetitive work, translate ambiguous needs into clear agent designs, and drive solutions through implementation and adoption. They will also stay current on emerging AI tools and capabilities, continuously looking for practical new ways to improve how the business operates.
What you’ll be doing
-
Discovering opportunities: Meeting with business teams as requested to learn their workflows, identify bottlenecks, and surface high-value use cases for AI agents and automation.
-
Translating needs into solutions: Turning loosely defined problems and ideas into practical agent requirements, workflows, instructions, system connections and success measures.
-
Building production agents: Using the company's approved low/no-code AI tools and platforms to configure, test, refine and launch agents that connect safely to approved internal systems and data. The specific toolset may evolve over time, so the ability to learn and adapt to new platforms is essential.
-
Owning delivery end to end: Taking solutions beyond prototypes by coordinating testing, user feedback, deployment, documentation, training and post-launch improvement.
-
Developing domain expertise: Building familiarity with one or more functional areas such as mortgage operations, sales, HR, accounting or other corporate functions so solutions become increasingly relevant and effective.
-
Driving adoption and change: Helping teams understand what is changing, how to use new agents effectively, and how roles or processes may need to evolve alongside the technology.
-
Partnering across Technology: Working closely with the AI platform team, data and integration teams, IT, security, compliance and change-management partners to operate within established guardrails.
-
Prioritizing value and feasibility: Helping distinguish strong opportunities from low-value ideas, and communicating clearly when a request is not yet feasible, not appropriate, or should be solved another way.
-
Creating reusable patterns and documentation: Capturing repeatable workflows, requirements, decisions, lessons learned, templates and agent patterns in a clear, organized way that can accelerate future delivery across the company.
What you’ll bring
- 0-4 years of professional experience; internships, co-ops, analyst roles, operations experience, consulting-style project work or relevant campus leadership can all be valuable
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a field that develops analytical, operational or systems-oriented thinking
- Exposure to process improvement, business analysis, operations, automation, AI tools, workflow platforms or low/no-code technology is a plus
- Mortgage or financial-services experience is a plus, not required
- Exceptional systems thinking: you naturally see workflows, dependencies, handoffs, failure points and opportunities to simplify
- Strong curiosity and discovery skills: you know how to ask questions that get beyond the first answer and uncover the real business problem
- Comfort with AI tools and modern digital workflows. You do not need to be a software developer, but you should have hands-on familiarity with AI tools, be eager to deepen that knowledge, and proactively stay current on emerging capabilities that could benefit the business
- A highly service-oriented communication style. You can build trust with frontline employees, managers and senior leaders, including people who may be skeptical of or unfamiliar with AI
- Bias toward action and ownership. You are comfortable moving from conversation to design to build to launch rather than stopping at recommendations
- Good judgment and attention to risk, particularly around data, customer information, controls and regulated processes
- Ability to explain technical or AI concepts in straightforward business language
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping create structure where processes, requirements or ownership are not yet fully defined
