Our client, a technology‑driven organisation within the business services and digital solutions space, is seeking an AI Engineer to join their Insights, Data and Enterprise Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions across voice and digital customer interaction channels. This includes building production‑grade voice bots, chatbots, AI‑driven quality assurance systems, and natural language processing solutions tailored to diverse and emerging markets. This role offers exposure to cutting‑edge technologies including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), speech technologies, and responsible AI practices within a collaborative and innovation‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI‑driven solutions including chatbots, voice bots, and QA automation tools Build and optimise models using Generative AI, NLP/NLU, and LLM frameworks Develop Speech‑to‑Text (STT) and Text‑to‑Speech (TTS) capabilities and integrate speech technologies into solutions Create scalable, production‑grade AI systems aligned with business requirements Integrate AI models into existing systems using APIs and modern integration techniques Conduct data analysis to support model development and generate actionable insights Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions Ensure AI solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with governance and data privacy standards Participate in research and innovation initiatives to explore new AI capabilities and use cases Contribute to continuous improvement of AI systems, processes, and deployment practices Support development of AI strategies aligned to business objectives Create documentation, user guides, and provide support for deployed AI solutions Stay up to date with emerging AI trends, tools, and technologies Education Honours Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field Master's Degree advantageous Relevant AI/ML certifications (e.g., Azure AI) beneficial Experience 0–3 years’ experience in AI, Machine Learning, NLP, or a related field Hands‑on experience building AI chatbots, voice bots, or conversational AI systems Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and speech technologies (STT/TTS) Exposure to AI implementations within customer interaction or contact centre environments advantageous Experience working with low‑resource or multilingual language solutions beneficial Skills Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), R, or Java Experience with AI/ML libraries such as Tensor Flow, Py Torch, Hugging Face Strong understanding of NLP/NLU, LLMs, and conversational AI frameworks Experience with API development and integration (REST, Graph QL) Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD, and MLOps practices Experience working with data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and model monitoring Familiarity with SQL/No SQL databases Exposure to containerisation (e.g., Docker) advantageous Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams Highly adaptable with strong organisational and time‑management skills
