AI Specialist

Our client, an established organization in Sandton, is seeking a skilled AI Specialist to join their dynamic team on a 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a collaborative setting while contributing to cutting-edge AI solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design AI/GenAI solutions and develop agentic AI workflows

• Perform prompt engineering and conduct data quality assessments

• Develop analytics and risk scoring models

• Integrate Python, SQL, and APIs into enterprise platforms

• Configure and optimize Microsoft Azure/Fabric or equivalent platforms

• Implement and manage Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Copilot GitHub

• Design dashboards and reports using Power BI

• Ensure secure software delivery and uphold responsible AI practices

• Manage model risk, privacy, and information security controls

• Coordinate UAT, documentation, training, and stakeholder engagement

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in AI or related fields

• + 2 years hands-on GenAI/LLM or agentic AI delivery

• Proficiency in Analytics, Power BI, R, Python, and SQL

• Strong engineering background with experience in data engineering and management

• Ability to design robust AI solutions and optimize cloud-based platforms

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
