AI Trust & Safety Product Manager

The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service. Job Description:

• Develop comprehensive, practical, and efficient content safety, compliance, and risk-control strategies based on the platform ecosystem and business needs.
• Establish and maintain behavioral guidelines and safety boundaries for AI personas and generated content, and drive systematic policy updates.
• Identify and analyze potential risks across different business scenarios; design and implement corresponding technical and policy solutions.
• Partner closely with Product, ML/Algorithm, Engineering, and Operations teams to manage and deliver day-to-day and priority safety initiatives.
• Design, develop, maintain, and iterate on safety features, review platforms, and policy-management tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree , with more than 3 years of full time product experience in internet safety, risk control, or content compliance.
• Experience building or operating mature safety-platform systems or content-review systems is preferred.
• Strong project-management, cross-functional communication, coordination, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Deep business understanding and the ability to independently analyze and solve complex safety issues.
• Critical, logical thinking, and quick learning ability.
