Performs FAA-compliant aircraft inspections and quality checks to ensure airworthiness and safety for Textron Aviation's Service Center in Orlando.

You'll play a key part in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our Service Center operations. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to)\:

  • Final Airworthiness Inspections\: Inspect aircraft and components to ensure compliance with Textron Aviation Quality standards and FAA regulations for return to service
  • Quality & Compliance Oversight\: Review inspection records, reports, and documentation for accuracy and adherence to RII, Part 135, and internal quality standards
  • Tooling & Equipment Verification\: Perform periodic checks and calibrations on precision tools and test equipment to meet FAA and OEM specifications
  • Material & Parts Control\: Inspect and accept incoming parts and supplies, ensure proper tagging and traceability, and prevent installation of unairworthy components
  • Technical Documentation & Resources\: Use OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, structural repair manuals, and MELs to guide inspections and maintenance procedures
  • Aircraft Walkarounds & Safety Checks\: Conduct regular aircraft walkarounds to verify form usage, identify hazards, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment
