Aircraft Planner
Summary
Coordinates aircraft maintenance projects, updates project plans in SAP and Gantt charts, and liaises with teams and customers to ensure on-time delivery.
Work Location: North
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Support:
- Update Gantt charts, milestones, and critical tasks.
- Review project estimates and part statuses critical for the project.
- Raise service orders in the SAP system for defects and work arising and update the work scope.
- Monitor planned vs. actual hours for assigned projects.
- Coordinate with aircraft leads to justifying additional hours for customer approval.
Customer and Meeting Coordination:
- Escort customers and book customer meeting rooms.
- Coordinate projects from initiation to closure, ensuring efficient and satisfactory completion.
- Support internal discussions and meetings related to projects.
- Assist with relevant customer support issues and ensure their closure.
Communication and Prioritization:
- Participate in meetings, prioritize tasks, and communicate priorities to the team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for task status and updates.
Analysis and Evaluation:
- Drive actions within client's internal partners through analysis.
- Evaluate project performance.
- Assist with project budget oversight.
Project Oversight:
- Manage project goals and schedules.
- Escalate issues to the Project Manager as needed.
Additional Skills and Tools:
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in SAP for raising service orders and managing defects.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Gantt charts, MS Project, or other project management software.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills for coordinating tasks and updates with the team.
- Customer Interaction: Ability to escort customers and handle meeting arrangements.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Aerospace
· Ability to read technical drawings
