Akamai Edge Security Engineer - Web & API Protection

NET-A-PORTER is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in Zola Predosa, Italy. This role involves managing and optimizing Akamai security services and collaborating with development teams to ensure secure configurations across applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in traffic analysis, web security principles, and a proactive attitude to learn new technologies. The position offers a hybrid working model with a focus on collaborative team environments.

Design and maintain Akamai security configurations. Monitor and tune WAF rules for optimal performance. Identify and mitigate DDoS attacks. Hands-on experience managing and configuring Akamai security solutions. Deep understanding of web application security principles, including OWASP Top 10. Proficiency in analyzing HTTP/S traffic and investigating alerts.
