Alternative Ops Fund Accounting AVP
You will lead asset owner private market operations and oversee administration, performance, and operational services. You will manage client escalations, ensure accurate service delivery, lead teams, monitor private market operations, implement process improvements, manage resources, and support onboarding, due diligence, RFPs, and service growth.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary escalation point for asset owner clients
- Oversee document management, cash processing, valuation, and performance reporting
- Oversee receipt and processing of capital statements, financial statements, and cash notices
- Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
- Lead the AOPM service delivery team
- Monitor daily operations across alternative investment products
- Apply risk and control frameworks
- Implement process improvements, automation, and standardization
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members
- Manage resource planning and capacity
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings
- Support new client onboarding, due diligence, and RFPs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or asset owner services
- At least 3 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of private markets including private equity, venture capital, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate
