Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer - A/D and D/A Converter

◾Job Description
1.Designers might be involved from project conception through final production
or be responsible for a phase of development.
2.These professionals apply electronics engineering principles and technical skills
to design microelectronics and simulate performance.
3.Crafting blocks and detailing design towards formal design reviews. Drive mask
design to implement layout view of designs. Top-level simulations to validate
top-level integration. Defining production/bench-level test-plans.
4.Designers may use computer-aided design (CAD) software to help with
schematic design layout, verification and IC characterization.
5.The layout floor plan formed by designer is required before layout.
6.Once the initial layout is complete, designers may use CAD or manufactured
models to test and analyze circuits. This may include verifying specifications,
monitoring performance, characterizing bugs and troubleshooting problems.
Finally, integrated circuit designers might be responsible for writing specification
and test requirement documents. Other duties may include providing circuitry
expertise, recording specification changes and logging other modifications.
7.Taking lab measurements to validate analog designs. Driving/reviewing yield/lab
test results to drive bug fixes. Design for ESD compliance.
