Summary
Develops, maintains and enhances websites and their databases (JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, MySQL/MSSQL) for a client Section, while also handling daily IT operations: network/equipment support, workstation setup, hardware inventory and procurement. On-site in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong; HK$43,000–45,000/month.
Salary: $43,000 – $45,000 per month
Job Duties:
To develop, update, enhance and maintain website(s) and relevant database(s) and to provide daily support services (including various IT projects and activities) to the Section;
To control or operate network, computer and associated equipment/facilities according to prescribed standards and procedures, monitor their performance and perform routine operator maintenance;
To set up workstation or networked equipment, scheduling and monitoring computer equipment installation/relocation and perform site preparation work;
To update and maintain inventory records of computer hardware, perform physical checks and assist in their procurement including handling of quotations and collection/handling of disposal equipment, and provide professional advice on software product evaluation;
Job Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
At least 3 years post-qualification experience related to application development/maintenance
Good knowledge and programming skills in the latest web technologies, including Java Script, PHP etc. are required
Good knowledge and experience in web/mobile application development are required;
Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PC hardware & software support are required;
Experience in Linux and knowledge and hands-on experience in databases, including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server are required;
