Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Analyst Programmer/System Analyst to join our client's Agile software development team. In this role, you will design technical solutions, build backend services, and guide junior developers to keep our systems running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Solutions: Turn business requirements into practical technical designs, evaluating options based on technical and business needs.
Backend Development: Build and maintain customer-facing backend services.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead 2–5 junior developers and collaborate with offshore teams on system upgrades and production issues.
Proactive Problem Solving: Use tools and problem-solving skills to catch and fix bugs before they impact users.
Requirements
Core Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience (commercial client project experience preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Agile Experience: Solid background working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Languages: Native Cantonese speaker with good English communication skills.
Technical Skills
Primary Focus: Strong, recent hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot.
Additional Tech Stack: Experience with React Native and Node.js.
System Scope: Experience handling mid-scale enhancements across web platforms, application systems, and batch jobs.
Problem Solving: Ability to perform technical analysis, troubleshoot issues independently, and propose clear solutions.
