Analyst – Quality Assurance
Summary
Senior QA analyst (5–7 years experience) in Indore who owns quality end to end across projects — test case review, regression/API testing, defect management, and QA metrics — while mentoring junior testers, improving processes, and growing toward QA team leadership.
We are looking for an
experienced QA professional with approximately 5–7 years of experience who can
take ownership of quality across projects and grow into a QA management role.
This is not only a
testing execution role. The person should be strong in hands-on QA, but also
capable of mentoring junior team members, improving QA processes, identifying
risks early, working closely with delivery teams, and helping build stronger
quality practices across projects.
Key
Responsibilities
- Own QA activities across assigned projects
from requirement review through release.
- Identify quality risks early and ensure
adequate test coverage.
- Review test cases, regression coverage,
defects, and release readiness.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
- Improve QA processes, standards,
checklists, and reporting.
- Participate in root-cause analysis for
production issues.
- Work with Developers, BAs, Project
Managers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality concerns.
- Help improve automation coverage and
testing efficiency.
- Track meaningful QA metrics and provide
visibility into quality risks.
- Gradually take greater responsibility for
QA team supervision and practice management.
What We Are Looking
For
- Around 5–7 years of software QA
experience.
- Strong functional, regression,
integration, API, and defect-management knowledge.
- Exposure to automation testing.
- Experience owning QA for projects or
releases.
- Experience mentoring junior team members
is preferred.
- Strong communication, ownership,
analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Interest in growing into a
people-management and QA leadership role.
The ideal candidate
should not only ask “What should I test?” but also think “What could
go wrong, why did it happen, and how do we prevent it next time?”
