Analytical Engineer

Duties:
Engage stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical data solutions.
Design datasets optimized for analytics purposes.
Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessments to ensure integrity.
Develop Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional data models that support scalable analytics.
Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Collaborate with Data Engineers on building and maintaining robust data pipelines.
Maintain enterprise data models and comprehensive metadata documentation.
Support governance initiatives, testing, reporting, and documentation activities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and dimensional modelling.
Hands-on experience with data warehousing and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies.
Solid understanding of data governance and quality standards.
Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Familiarity with the following:
Data pipeline development
Metadata management
Financial services industry knowledge is advantageous.
