Join a data analytics team supporting analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives within the food industry. This role focuses on building scalable data transformation pipelines, improving data quality, and enabling trusted decision‑making through well‑modeled data assets. The position partners closely with analytics, engineering, product, and business teams to improve data infrastructure and optimize data reliability.

Location: Toronto/Hybrid (4 Days on Site - WFH Friday)

Duration: 3 Months - Chance to convert Fulltime after

Must Haves

  • 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence engineering
  • SQL and data modeling for building and maintaining data models
  • dbt or similar data transformation framework
  • Data warehousing, database design, and enterprise cloud data warehouses
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

Nice to Have

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data transformation pipelines using dbt
  • Design and implement scalable data models across business domains
  • Establish and maintain data quality checks, testing frameworks, and validation processes
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and maintainability
