We're partnering with a well-established organisation undertaking an exciting data and analytics transformation and are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.

This role will play a key part in delivering a backlog of high-priority reporting and analytics initiatives, helping to build scalable data models and empower the business with meaningful insights.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Design and develop dimensional data models using best-practice methodologies
  • Create and maintain semantic models within Power BI
  • Build intuitive dashboards and reports that drive business decision-making
  • Work across the Microsoft Fabric platform to deliver modern analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting outcomes
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across reporting assets
  • Support the ongoing uplift of the organisation's analytics capability
About You You'll be a hands-on Analytics Engineer or Senior BI Developer who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and turning business requirements into impactful reporting solutions.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience with dimensional modelling (Kimball / Star Schema)
  • Advanced Power BI development skills, including DAX and semantic modelling
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience managing and delivering reporting backlogs
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Desirable
  • Experience with Azure Data Services
  • Data engineering exposure across modern cloud platforms
  • Understanding of data governance and self-service analytics principles
