Android developer
Summary
An Android developer role in Singapore building and maintaining mobile applications using Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, and web technologies, with responsibilities spanning full development lifecycle from requirements to optimization and production support.
As an Software Developer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Gather requirements and specifications
- Develop, build, test and maintain mobile applications
- Brainstorm new ideas improve UX/UI and fix bugs
- Perform troubleshooting and resolving of production issues
- Ensure optimization of the mobile applications developed
- Collaborate closely with the Software Architects, UX/UI Designers and other team members
- Maintenance of applications
As a successful candidate you will have a
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with:
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing mobile applications
- Experience in mobile/web development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Android SDK/Kotlin.
- Knowledge and/or experience in Android development
- Good understanding of UI/ UX concepts for mobile devices.
- Good working experience in Java/Kotlin, IBM MQ programming and other Object-oriented programming
- Working experience in database such as Microsoft SQL 2019.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology; rapid prototyping is a plus
