Software Engineer (.NET Core)
Summary
Build and maintain enterprise applications using C#/.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using C#/.NET Core.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web applications.
- Design and optimise SQL databases, queries, and stored procedures.
- Participate in the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience with C#/.NET Core and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React (or similar frameworks), and web technologies.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker or containerisation technologies.
- Exposure to Java or VBScript (VBS).
- Personal GitHub or project portfolio is a plus.
