Android Software Engineer
Summary
Wizeline is hiring an Android Software Engineer in Barcelona (hybrid, 3 days/week in office) to build native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The role needs ~4 years of Android experience, with pluses for fullstack, cloud/GraphQL/Firebase familiarity, and day-to-day AI tooling use.

- 2+ years of Android Mobile development experience
- A strong background in software engineering and web technologies. Previous experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and GraphQL is a huge plus.
- Experience building user-facing, scalable, highly-performant mobile applications.
- Familiarity with API design and cloud-based infrastructure and deployments.
- A natural curiosity and desire to understand and even contribute to the entire technology stack.
- A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies. If you have a background in journalism, even better!
Nice-to-have:
AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
This a position based in Barcelona in a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the office)
