Role Overview

The application is native, and we are shifting to writing in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.

Our application is continuously being refactored to a new architecture with new features. We release often, pursuing the latest technologies wherever we can to increase speed and quality while future-proofing our applications.

Current Work Focus

  • New UI/UX with accessibility considerations
  • New technical application architecture
  • Continuous improvements and feature growth for vehicle functionality
  • Implement features specializing on car connectivity and car sharing
  • Increasing customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to release a new major version (3.0) of the Lynk & Co mobile app.
  • Implement features in the agile team continuously specializing on car connectivity and car sharing
  • Incremental refactoring and improvement to architectural and implementation

Critical Specifications

  • Fluent English – oral and written
  • Drivers license in Sweden
  • Excellent understanding of agile, SAFE gitflow and other industry standards
  • Work with designers, POs, and other developers to bring Lynk & Co services to mobile on Android
  • Migrating from older application paradigms to some of the newest Android technologies like Kotlin,
  • Share responsibility for testing, releasing, and maintaining our mobile app
  • Extensive understanding of mobile product development
  • Proactive communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environment
  • Extensive experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
  • Experience with accessibility implementations on Android
