Key responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various medical procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Monitor patients’ physiological status during anesthesia and adjust treatment as necessary.
- Manage postoperative pain and care, including recognizing and addressing complications.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide integrated patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in anesthesiology and apply best practices within the clinical setting.
- Ensure compliance with institutional protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Board certification in anesthesiology from a recognized medical board.
- Valid license to practice anesthesiology in the UAE or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven clinical experience, preferably a minimum of 5 years, in anesthesiology.
- Strong expertise in various anesthesia techniques including general, regional, and local anesthesia.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
