Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of orthopedic conditions including fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, and degenerative diseases.
- Perform orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, arthroscopies, and fracture fixations with precision and care.
- Develop treatment plans that incorporate surgery, rehabilitation, and patient education.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, radiologists, and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest advances in orthopedic surgery and integrate evidence-based practices.
- Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in orthopedic surgery.
- Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as an orthopedic surgeon.
- Strong surgical skills and experience with a wide range of orthopedic procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
