Angular Frontend Engineer — Interactive Dashboards

NTT DATA Romania is looking for a skilled frontend developer to join our UI/UX & Front-end Technologies Competence Center. You will create responsive interfaces with Angular, collaborating with backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

The role emphasizes performance, accessibility, and scalable design for insurance-related projects, with testing (Jasmine/Karma, Cypress/Protractor) and modern tooling (Docker, CI/CD). English is required; German is a plus.

Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular, integrating with backend microservices. Design and implement reusable UI components for cross-browser compatibility and scalability. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and enable real-time data exchange. Build dashboards and visualizations to support forecasting and production planning insights. Ensure intuitive user experiences for data input, visualization, and analysis. Work with QA to validate UI functionality, performance, and reliability via tests. Optimize frontend performance and implement caching and lazy loading strategies. Document component usage and user guides for knowledge sharing and maintenance. University degree in software engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience with a focus on Angular. Strong knowledge of Angular, RxJS, and NgRx or similar state management libraries. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration. Experience with Jasmine/Karma and Cypress or Protractor for testing. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and TypeScript. Experience with Webpack and package managers (npm or Yarn). Familiarity with Docker and containerized frontend deployments. Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for frontend apps. Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.
