APAC Regional VCO Deployment Lead (OMP)

Job Description:

This transformation is led from the top of the organization down to every unit.

This role is part of the EOS APAC Regional Deployment organization and is responsible for Leading the deployment of RC's new End to End Supply Chain processes & Advanced Planning solution (OMP) to the Asia Pacific Markets in collaboration with the EOS COE and GPOs. The role will Leverage the existing deployment strategy and playbooks from the Pilot market and work across the region to ensure the optimal adoption of the OMP solution and with strong alignment of businesses to the global Target Operating model.

As the Project and Team Lead this role will be a critical part of the success of the overall OMP program in APAC, responsible for ensuring APAC unlocks significant business benefits post implementation, and supporting the VCO organization in building a resilient Supply Network to support APAC's growth ambition for 2030 and beyond

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead and manage the Regional E2E Planning project within EOS program - inclusive of building team with appropriate capabilities, leading execution of tech, process, data and people enhancements

  • Risk Management & Governance: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks specific to the regional deployment of the APS system. Develop contingency plans to address any unforeseen challenges

  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for regional stakeholders regarding the APS implementation. Foster clear communication and collaboration between regional users, business leaders, and the central project team

  • Represent the regional perspective in discussions with central project leadership and participate in high-level decision-making processes

  • Defines strategies, principles, and standards to guide business transformation efforts across the organization

  • Ensures that technology investments enhance business capabilities and execute on business objectives

  • Works across business and technical teams to ensure technology investment decisions deliver on business needs.

  • Lead the Regional FE Planning community (people and process), drive the transformation of the regional Enterprise Planning organization.

  • Process Mapping and Analysis: Work with regional stakeholders to map out current planning processes, identify inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement with the new APS.

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with regional users and business leaders to define functional requirements for the APS implementation, ensuring it aligns with regional needs. Translate requirements into user stories which will be used to create Solution Design Document.

  • Change Management: Support change management initiatives by educating regional users on the new APS system, its functionalities, and the benefits it provides.

  • Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Support system testing and UAT to identify and address any regional-specific issues with the APS configuration.

  • Configuration and Customization: Work with the project team to configure the APS to meet your region's specific planning processes and workflows. This might involve defining regional parameters, data mapping, and report customization.

  • Regional Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions tailored to the needs of your regional users. This could involve hands-on training on the APS functionalities and best practices.

  • Data Migration and Cleansing: Collaborate with the data migration team to ensure accurate and clean regional data is migrated to the new APS system

  • End-User Support: Provide ongoing support to regional users after go-live, addressing their questions and troubleshooting any system issues within the regional context.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze regional planning processes using the new APS. Identify opportunities for further optimization and work with the project team to implement improvements.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Document and share best practices learned during the implementation with other regions or departments for future reference.

  • Has accountability for the regional business execution in E2E Planning.

What are we looking for?

  • Line Manager experience, ideally of geographically dispersed team, and strong background of leading 3rd party providers for project delivery

  • Minimum seven years of experience in VCO/Supply Chain with transformation and/or software implementation project experience

  • Deep knowledge of E2E Planning processes, especially DRP

  • Strong Supply Chain business acumen, being able to translate business complexity and project interdependencies into tangible outcomes to drive transformation, and to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations

  • Strong ability to understand business functionality/complexity and translate it into application requirements

  • Ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations

  • Project management experience and excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies

  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills · Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products

  • Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards

  • Has APS and other systems Implementation experience
