APO – Railway Protection Force District Coordination

Objectives:

1. Smooth coordination for implementation of RPF Program at District Level
   

2. Support in Rescue and rehabilitation of Trafficked Children
   

Job Description

Government Collaborations:

• Draft an yearly Action Plan along with District RPF for regular coordination
  

• Regular liasoning meeting with RPF officer about identification and rescue
  

• 2 Monthly convergence meetings with RPF and GRP Officer for smooth coordination post rescue
  

• Draft an activity calendar as per the timeline along with the RPF for awareness of general public on trafficking
  

Identification and Rescue

• Participate 4 times along with the RPF Officials in trains for identification of Children in need of assistance in your concerned districts
  

• Rescue of children on identification of children immediately
  

• Coordinate with GRP for handing over of the children to be produced before CWC and for restoration
  

• Application for filing of FIR to be written to GRP during handover of children with a copy to DM, SP and CWC
  

• Seeking details of children for follow up of rescued children with CWC and DCPUs
  

Networking

• Identify 2 civilians or civil society organization per districts for support in rescue and follow up of rescued children
  

• Creating an informer network for reporting about trafficking of children
  

• Networking with Students and youth groups for awareness about trafficking to the general public
  

Deliverables

1. 2 Meetings weekly with District RPF Officials
   

2. 2 Meetings weekly with District GRP/SP Officials
   

3. 2 Meetings weekly with identified NGO partners on trafficking of children
   

4. 2 Meetings weekly with Student volunteers and Youth clubs for support in identification and reporting about violation of child rights violation
   

5. 2 Visit per 10 days for identification and rescue of children
   

6. Rescue of children on and when information received from any sources
   

Qualification :Graduate in any stream

Experience : 0-2 years

Skills and competencies: Documentation skills engaging with district administration skills
