Application Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support the Hospital Information System (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and third-party applications integrated with hospital systems.
Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with vendors and end users to ensure timely resolution.
Gather and analyse business requirements, translate them into system solutions, and recommend improvements to application workflows and operational processes.
Assist in system configuration, testing, implementation, upgrades, and enhancements to meet business requirements.
Support ICT projects by coordinating with the Senior Application Specialist, ICT Manager, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery.
Prepare and maintain system documentation, including functional specifications, SOPs, work instructions, and user manuals.
Conduct user training and provide guidance to ensure effective system utilisation.
Manage application access rights and ensure compliance with system security and data integrity requirements.
Monitor application performance, analyse recurring issues, and recommend solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Provide ongoing application support to ensure smooth daily hospital operations and business continuity.
Oversee at least three application modules, system interfaces, or related departmental workflows.
Who are we looking for?
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2–3 years of relevant experience in application support, business requirements analysis, and documentation.
Experience in hospital or clinical systems will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of programming, system development life cycle (SDLC), application design, and ICT project management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work collaboratively with end users, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
