Application Developer (Python, React, Full Stack)

We are seeking a talented Application Developer with a focus on Python, AI, and React to join our Innovation Solutions team. Our team focuses on improving Support's life by creating trainings, process improvements, and tools. This position allows you to collaborate with an innovative team and develop your expertise in Full Stack Development.
What you’ll get to do
Leverage Python and AI to design, prototype, and develop AI-driven solutions, particularly chatbot functionality, contributing to Dayforce’s transformative technology offerings.
Analyze, design, prototype, develop, test and support – own the complete software lifecycle.
Work with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel to envision and deliver the required functionality.
Create and enhance a scalable enterprise application.
Assess risks and impacts on the existing system as new functions are added.
Work collaboratively with our team members to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Propose compromises whenever requirements are too hard to implement. Negotiate trade offs
Break down feature requests into development tasks and provide work estimates
Skills and experience we value
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of AI's capabilities.
Working knowledge of modern web technologies including: HTML, CSS 3, SVG, WCF, JSON, etc.
Demonstrated experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as React, Angular, Ember, Backbone, etc.
Strong coding skills in a modern object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java, C++)
Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database systems
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working with an enterprise application or database deployed on Azure/server.
What would make you really stand out
Hands-on experience in applying design patterns, writing unit tests, and optimizing performance at the application level in Type-Script/JavaScript.
Demonstrated experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as React, Angular, Ember, Backbone, etc.
Experience with .NET framework.
Working experience with ASP.NET MVC.
Experience working with an enterprise application or database deployed on Azure.
Experience in designing and developing highly secure and always available public APIs.
Experience in using Github.
Experience in using Jira
