Job Summary
Support aerospace engine component manufacturing through process development, tooling design, CNC programming, and customer collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing Makino’s advanced milling and grinding platforms, utilizing 3+2 and simultaneous 5-axis machining techniques.
- Develop machining processes and NC programs (Siemens NX).
- Design tooling, fixtures, and dressing rolls.
- Simulate programs in Vericut; execute on Makino platforms.
- Conduct test cuts and machine demos.
- Provide post-sale support and training at customer sites.
- Document project results and process plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in engineering or 2+ years relevant experience.
- OR 5+ years hands-on machining/CNC experience.
- Aerospace and tight-tolerance machining preferred.
- Multi-axis CNC, Fanuc/Makino controls knowledge.
