Application Engineer - Client-Facing Solutions

Avaneidi is seeking an Application Engineer to support integration of our products into client systems. You will handle pre-sales and post-sales technical support, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and are effectively implemented.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, customer-facing interactions, and collaboration with sales and engineering teams. Training clients and developing documentation are also key aspects of the position.

Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, ensuring successful implementation of products. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts. Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the product integration process and provide troubleshooting support. Customize and configure software and hardware solutions to meet the specific needs of clients. Provide training to clients on product features, best practices, and effective use of solutions. Work with engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and feedback for product improvement. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, knowledge base articles, and configuration guides. Conduct product testing, ensuring compatibility with customer systems and environments. Stay up to date on the latest product features, industry trends, and customer needs to offer informed recommendations. Assist in deployment and onboarding of customers, ensuring smooth transitions from installation to operational use. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in an application engineering or technical support role, preferably with complex software or hardware products. Strong understanding of software systems, network configurations, and product integration processes. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically when faced with technical challenges. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
